This stuff is so addicting and delicious + tastes like the real DEAL…you can’t even tell it’s vegan! It takes no more than 20 minutes to whip up and then all you have to do is let it chill out in the fridge for a little while to thicken.

Vegan + Paleo Caramel Sauce

Homemade dairy-free, vegan, and paleo caramel sauce. Made with only a few simple and healthy ingredients!

  • 1 cup full fat coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup raw coconut palm sugar
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt


  1. Bring water and coconut sugar to a light boil in a medium sized pot, stirring mixture constantly over medium heat.

  2. Add in coconut milk, vanilla extract, and sea salt, and cook for about 15-20 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly so it doesn't burn. When mixture starts to thicken and turn darker in color, it's ready! Set aside to cool, and store in an air-tight container in the fridge. Enjoy!
