Homemade dairy-free, vegan, and paleo caramel sauce. Made with only a few simple and healthy ingredients!
Bring water and coconut sugar to a light boil in a medium sized pot, stirring mixture constantly over medium heat.
Add in coconut milk, vanilla extract, and sea salt, and cook for about 15-20 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly so it doesn't burn. When mixture starts to thicken and turn darker in color, it's ready! Set aside to cool, and store in an air-tight container in the fridge. Enjoy!
